I agree-when I pledged my fraternity, i was taught that your priorities should be Scholarship first, Fraternity second, Self last. when you have that in place, its not hard to organize your life...you realize that instead of drinking one night maybe you should stay in and do some work...
this semester i balanced 15 credits, my pledge education and scholarship chair positions, a 10 hour a week job, a position on the universities student judicial council, and a girlfriend...and im about to pull the best grades of my college career with a 3.6 or higher...
my advice-get a large whiteboard and hang it by your computer-write all your assignments on there with their due date and priority level--works for me
