I am glad you all enjoyed it, but alas I am not the author. I found it on Beejae's site this morning. I was looking for an obituary and I found the above on Beejae's site.

I learned a lot from our beloved soror who is now gone but still in the presence of countless other sorors who have done so much for the organization.

I never met Soror Noble but count it a privilege to follow in her footsteps by being a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

I had the privilege of serving with Dr. Noble on the executive board. What I loved about her was her willingness to speak her mind no matter how controversial. She had a strong sense of ethics and she walked the walk as well as talked the talk. She will be truly missed.

My deepest condolences go out to Dr. Noble's family, as well as all the members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. May she rest in peace. I have read many things on Dr. Noble, and ladies you have lost a great one.

Condolences

I am so sorry to hear about soror Noble's passing. I admired the things that she has contributed to our great sisterhood and I am honored and humbled to be a part of it. My prayers to her family.

My mother told me last night that there will be a memorial service for Dr. Noble in her hometown of Albany, GA as well. Members who are closer to there may want to participate. I will pass along details when I receive them
