Thought for the day: Remember Memorial Day and be thankful to all our Grandparents,
fathers, brothers family and friends who served or are serving to protect our freedom.

worriedsenior,
Ask your mom if she went inactive or disaffiliated. There is a difference.
If she went inactive, that means she is still a member but didn't participate in activities for this or that reason. If this is what she did, you're a legacy.
If she disaffiliated, that means she turned in her pin and the national HQ no longer considers her a member or an alum. In this case you wouldn't be a legacy.
If either of you have any questions, the best route might be to call the sorority's national HQ and ask for your mom's official status. How much this is "checked out" depends on the chapter and the national.
I hope I didn't confuse you!! If you have any questions email me.
And I left your thought for the day in because it rocks.
