I think it's fair to talk about your own house. We have brothers who are RAs, and they put a good face on us. Just talk about other houses too, to be fair. Just mentioning Greek Life will make it seem like you're not enthusiastic, and that's no way to recruit.

I think its fair. Whats wrong with selling your organization. The members of the other glos all had the same opportunity to be orientation leaders but they were too lazy, so now they expect you to NOT sell your org. Give me a break.

Ok so we had our lil orientation for all the new students. Let me tell you: it went sooooooooo well. At my orientation, we were told we couldn't wear letters after all, which kinda upset our girls since we don't follow the formal recruitment rules (ie, you can't wear your letters during certain times before recruitment, etc). BUT... we set up our lil booth for the organization fair... we got over 15 girls to sign up with us within 10 minutes! About 25 total were interested. Most of the girls were from one of our groups. I convinced 3 girls in my group to come check us out if they could. And some of the other PNMs were going to tell their roommates and neighbors in the dorms.

Also, we have about 10-12 girls that weren't at the orientation but have already decided on going local because of friends/relatives in Chi Delta already.

I am so excited. Our nm class will be bigger than our house! no worries tho. as an alum, i am excited to see the house grow so much.
