Now, is this just your opinion? Or have you seen this 'reference' somewhere else? Cuz we know it's fact about the pink triangle. But this here... that's not cool, in my opinion. I feel like that reduces Gay/Lesbianism/etc. to nothing more than a sexual body part. And a triangle? Upside down or not, that's not even anatomically correct.
That's how rumors get started...

There's a reason Anais Nin called her book of erotic short stories DELTA of Venus. That doesn't mean this group is using the triangle for that, but there is historical use of referring to a women's more private area as a triangle, anatomically correct or not.

I was definitely not trying to start a rumor and of course only members of this organization would know the significance of that sign and I'm sure it has a deeper meaning we would never know about.
I was just making the point that sometimes in drawings or in crude gestures people will use an upside down triangle to refer to a woman's private are.
I had totally forgotten about Delta of Venus though, good point Fuzzie Alum!

Maybe it is the symbol for the lesbian community or whatever, but whenever I see two hands make a symbol, it usually looks like us(peep the Delta Gents). And I'm CTFU about how it might be for the female anatomy .
Yeah peep the g book, I'm like dang is folks coming out or what?

What really has me trippin is the fact that this sorority started in Tallahassee. I go to FAMU and from what I hear, there is a very large gay and lesbian greek community here. I have never seen anyone, anywhere, at anytime, repping any of these orgs. And, I'm not a house mouse either.
I think that these organizations are operating strictly underground. I have received emails and heard rumors about gay men pretending to be members AKA and DST. I actually even heard a gay man ask another gay man which one he was a member of. When he realized that I had heard him, he bounced. Now, he avoids me at all costs.
I am just going to have to keep an eye out for these women.

Okay, I'm not trying to hate on their efforts, but I just want to know why:
- Why the open blazers when they KNOW a few of them did NOT
need to go there????
- Why the wigs?
- Why not remove the wigs when the masks were removed, to reveal who you REALLY are???? Aren't you still covering up the real you by leaving your wigs on??????
- Why no audience?? (Or did they have one and we couldn't see them).
- Why so many similarities to other greek orgs.?
WHY, WHY, WHY?????????????

I believe that this is a legitimate organization. The website says it is incorporated sorority. And it is hard to put this sorority in the same catergory as gay men posing as a member of a sorority. I guess they didn't feel welcomed with other sororities so they made their own sorority.

(to DeltaQT) Hey My Neo/Numba..how you bees!!.. email me, tell me what's really going on witcha!!
Ok, the interesting thing is that they are not the ONLY lesbian/gay sorority in the Florida.
On Greekemails, I've seen a post with several different websites and links to them. It would be interesting if they ALL joined forces to establish themselves.
And no matter how much they resemble our Greek Lettered Organizations, they still have to pay homage in a sense. For with out us, there wouldn't be them...right?

I have never seen these crude drawings, nor have I ever heard about the Delta of Venus. Y'all taught me something new today. Why a triangle??? Well, actually, I have an idea. Moving on...

Whoa!!!!
LMFAO@ HDIC...that must stand for Hella Dark In Contrast (to the rest of her "sorors")
ChynaDoll looks like a wide-receiver for the NFL.
Most of them girls are ugly as hell with jacked up weaves. A few I believe used to be men. And if your stomach is bigger than your ass don't wear an open shirt made for people with FLAT stomachs.
If I was a member of any sorority of the D9 I would be pissed...
they are biting off of the Zetas and AKA's real hard.
LOL@ their hand sign. They're not sure if they wanna imitate Zeta, AKA, SGRho, or Delta (an upside down pyramid!!) Can they be more obvious!!
They get props for creating an organization like this to cater to lesbians and what not BUT be ORIGINAL!!! LOL!!!!
