I'm gon' be late to work behind this one...

I couldn't even make it through the whole webpage. LOL, ok.

HDIC tripped me out. EEKA EEKA !
Chynadoll does not look like a Chynadoll.
Don't think it's the SGRho sign, but too friggin' close, I think they use a different finger... whatever.
Not gonna comment too much on the Ivy Stance. *sigh*
Also not gonna comment on the upside down pyramid. *sigh*
But I will lend comment to EPPITUDE. Come ON now, ladies.
Empyreal's eyebrows... WHOA... quite far from her eyes.
Tattoos? I guess it's serious like that, ok.
Did you peep the crest? Did you? At the top, on one side, there are two women symbols interlocking, and then on the other side, there are THREE. Don't really know what to take from that, lol.
Probate pics, did yall peep those? Where's the audience? LMAO!!!

But the thing that gets me MOST: PICTURE DAY!!! OH, WTF?? You actually went and had a picture day? Not you were hanging around the yard and took some pictures, but you had a picture day? That's tripped out right there. Str8 tripped out. Like, totally. lmao

I'ma go back when I get to work, lol.

Sistagreeks and Sorors, they say the best form of flattery is imitation. Does it have to be a good imitation?

From what I understand, they started here in Tallahassee. When I asked my LGBT friends about it, they'd never heard of it or the other women's and men's fraternities that started here for the same reason.

Exclamation just a note about the triangle

I just wanted to comment on the upside down triangle. I don't know the sorority, but an upside down triangle is a gay/lesbian symbol. It usually is in pink, but I guess they just changed the color to blue because it is their sorority's color.

An upside down triangle can also be a reference to a particular part of the anatomy

did they remove their guestbook, I'm curious to see the entries some of you were talking about....

I give them props for seeing the need to service a community, one that is honestly overlooked and/or pushed to the side, and building something to help that community, can't knock em on that.

I personally think they could've used a less predictable and cheesy national stroll song than Diana Ross' "I'm Coming Out"

Now, is this just your opinion? Or have you seen this 'reference' somewhere else? Cuz we know it's fact about the pink triangle. But this here... that's not cool, in my opinion. I feel like that reduces Gay/Lesbianism/etc. to nothing more than a sexual body part. And a triangle? Upside down or not, that's not even anatomically correct.

That's how rumors get started...

There's a reason Anais Nin called her book of erotic short stories DELTA of Venus. That doesn't mean this group is using the triangle for that, but there is historical use of referring to a women's more private area as a triangle, anatomically correct or not.

Ideal08:

I was definitely not trying to start a rumor and of course only members of this organization would know the significance of that sign and I'm sure it has a deeper meaning we would never know about.

I was just making the point that sometimes in drawings or in crude gestures people will use an upside down triangle to refer to a woman's private are.

I had totally forgotten about Delta of Venus though, good point Fuzzie Alum!

Maybe it is the symbol for the lesbian community or whatever, but whenever I see two hands make a symbol, it usually looks like us(peep the Delta Gents). And I'm CTFU about how it might be for the female anatomy .
