I must say that I had a lovely time in Charlotte...
The stepshow was sold out before I got a ticket, but I met some bruhs from the winning chapter the next weekend in Atlanta during the Delta convention... I also have a friend in that chapter who is pretty cool. LGG - the Military chapter - they usually have a tight show...and some live parties too, LOL. Glad to hear they won 3rd place.
Um, can I just say that Nu Psi chapter Ques have some of the CRAZIEST, most OUTRAGEOUS brands???
And I met this dude who I nicknamed "The 4% Body Fat Bruh"...cuz he only had 4% body fat and was walkin' around shirtless all weekend...(sigh).
And another dude, I nicknamed him "The Drawz Bruh", because he was walking around the Adams Mark lobby on Saturday night in NOTHING BUT SOME BOXER SHORTS!! No shoes, shirt, pants, NOTHIN' BUT DRAWZ...drunk as a skunk...and had the nerve to try and set out a hop in his draws in front of the hotel...HILARIOUS!! And I can attest to the thousands of bruhs outside the Adams Mark on Friday AND Saturday night...it was a sight to see.
The radio reported 20,000 Omegas came to Charlotte...20,000 Ques...in one city...whoo wee!! I lived in LA when the Conclave was out there in 1996, and was also in Atlanta whenever that one was (early '90's, I can't remember exactly when...was that '92?? I just remember being in the Underground and seeing nothing but a sea of purple and gold...), but Charlotte was by far the most fun I've had in a LONG time!!
I saw some jokey shirts in Charlotte too - this one chapter (from Grambling I think) had a group of Bruhs who were celebrating their 10th year in, and they all had on shirts that said:
"10 years in the Frat and never been Cat!"
That was jokey. I saw another guy in a shirt that said:
"I'm at the 'Clave...set me out!"
But the funniest by far was this one:
"See a Cat...Wreck a Cat!"
That one was pretty popular, LOL. I had a ball at the parties, at the park, seeing old friends, making new ones

There was no drama with the police (at least none I saw), and it was all good...my friends even took pictures with the cops, LOL. Charlotte was a lovely host city.
It was all good, and as usual, I ain't mad at y'all.
...next stop, the DC Metro picnic later this month
