Sorhors and Sisterfriends,

You know that your a neo. . .

When you get mad at your friends for even touching your nalia.

You get mad at your friends for not buying you nalia or clothing that's rhoyal blue and gold.

You try to talk a seasoned sorhor like myself out of all my nalia. These girls tried to take my sweater, t-shirt, bookback, paddle, sorority flip flops, etc. I have to watch my nalia around some of Mu Omega.

You find yourself searching through the dictionary for interesting line names for the next line.

I just had to laugh at some of the neos that came through spring semester 02 at Mu Omega (George Mason Univ.) these young sorhors are just too much.

Serioussigma22

My advice to all neos- go to the Boule and or the Philly Greek Week and by your own nalia don't hit up a seasoned sorhor because it at gonna happen!

Sorhors and sisterfriends,

You know your a neo. . .

When you constantly check the mail for your official sorority magazine, sorority pin, handbook, certificate, sorority card, and anything else that was ordered for you and promised when you crossed. . .

Serioussigma22

You check the mail more than twice a day until you receive your stuff!

Sorhors and friends,

I got another one!

You know you are a neo. . .

When you run and almost get hit trying to get your sorhors attention. That just happened to me today one of our sorhors that I just me almost was hit trying to get my attention as I was pulling out of the school's parking lot. Yes, summer school has begun! I was very happy to me the sorhor and I'm glad that she's safe.

Guilty of.....

*Re-decorating dorm room to keep up the SGRHO shrine *lol*

* Having step practice by myself

* Going to seven eleven and buying only BLUE slurpees

*Talking about Zetas that are sporting the rhoyal blue and gold colors ( thats personal

* You get use to older sorors in the chapter swiping the lil bit of nalia you have

* When you find your older sorors getting just a lil bit salty b/c your advisor spoils you and still showers you with gifts 3months after you cross over

....... Trust me theres more, Im just not ready to admit that they are Neo habits!!!!

Alright, now why did you bring up those earrings? You know I had them.

1. The owner of the greek shop REALLY knew me, okay? "Why don't you have that in Sigma Gamma Rho?"
2. Boule came up two months after my induction. Can we say Sigma e'rythang? A sister had blue and gold on KRUNK!!!
3. Did I mention that I only ate those blue sour stringy type candies?
4. I drove a royal blue cavalier with gold metallic accent stripes and stickers in the back window and vanity plate and... you get the picture.
5. Sigma pins, lavaliers, t-shirts, sweatshirts, hockey jersey, shoe laces, and those poodle earrings...
6. I considered streaking my hair blue for homecoming.
7. For Bayou Classic, I had those long talon nails painted blue and, well you know...
8. Any time I went shopping for clothes after I crossed, I was like (and I still am) "That looks nice, but do you have it in Royal Blue and/or Gold?"
9. Let's not get into my dormitory homage to all things Sigma.

Hee hee.

Sorhor TRSimons,

Girl, no you didn't have those Rhoyal Blue Talon Nails we (Theta Omicron) had several sorhors that sported the long Rhoyal Blue nails and had the Asian ladies paint gold poodles on their thumb nails. They were some serious neos.

I totally agree with you on that one. . . you know you are a neo when you paint your car the color of your organization when you cross. We had a Que do that when he crossed!

Like I said, that is some serious neo fever!

Well, I didn't paint the car...

It was already that color with the accent stripes, but it is a good thing I did not know about the poodles on my nails.

So I'm waiting for the arrival of my Ninja 500 [motorcycle for those of you not familiar] and I called the guy who does custom paint jobs and I asked him " So how much for a RHOyal blue and gold job with a little poodle on the side?"

Ninjapoodle,

Girl, all I can do is lol about that one! Talk about still having neo fever! Ha! Ha! Please send me a picture of the bike if you have it painted rhoyal blue and add a poodle on the side of it.
And to Sorhor TRSimons you would have fit right in with wild and crazy Theta Omicron (U. of De.). Those Spring 89 and fall 89 lines wore all kinds of nalia in the name of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.

They all had such neo fever that even their highlighters said Sigma Gamma Rho. Their notebook paper also had the blue and gold greek letters on each page. I still can't get over all of the money they spent on nalia. They must have made Unique Impressions a greek shop on the campus very rich.

It is a good thing I didn't know about the highlighters. Hee hee. When a good song comes on, I still have to choreograph a little stRHOll (with my cane, of course).

Sorhor TRSimons,

Girl, you are too much! Yes, you still have a little neo. fever in you.

Here's another you know you must be a neo.

If you have about 11 to 13 brands or tatoos all over your body. I remember seeing different ques during the Saturday event of the Philly Greek Week in 97' getting numerous brands on their bodies. One of the brothas was branded 11 times - now that's a neo for you.

And continuing on!

You are afraid to show your backs to your seasoned sorhors!

You walk up to every female wearing Rhoyal blue and gold and ask the person if they are a sorhor.

You dye your hair gold!

When you go to your first Boule and although you promised yourself you wouldnt buy ANY more PARA, you cant fit all the stuff you bought into your suitcase for the trip home!
