I'm at University of Hartford, Mu Iota, and we're just called Sigma Nus. Sometimes if I brother does something dorky we'll call him a Sigma Nerd, but everyone calls us a Sigma Nu.
There are a few girls that always come to our parties and have hooked up with a bunch of brothers, we call them Sigma Nu Sluts.

I hang out with Sigma Nu's all the time, they're my best friends. And one time we went to U of New Hampshire to cause some hell and we talked with some of my sisters.

Apparently there, the AZD's call Sigma Nu "the Noodles" and they call the AZD's "the Ziti's".

Well, we had been known as "Sigma Who" on campus - and then we threw one of the biggest parties in our university's history.

So now we're just Sigma Nerd (or average GPA is higher than the average male underclassmen GPA).

The ladies that spend the night on our sleeping porch often call it "sigma zoo" with all of the craziness that ensues on a party night...

Sigma Nu

At UT the Sigma Nu's were caddy corner to us, we called them the Snakes or the Nu's. Got along ok with the Sigma Nu's, we really hated the KA's.

Thumbs up

At the Universtiy of Nebraska we are usually refered to as Nuer's. No real reason (actually that is also what we call each other too)

Sometimes I've heard the "Sigma Who' line.
Or Snakes.

At Stetson the only thing I've heard us called is Sig Nu.

Other frats are called:

Lambda Chi Alpha = Lambs

Delta Sigma Phi = Digs (They used to bury their pledges up to their heads, they are trying hard to change the nickname to "Delta Sigs" but its not really working)

Sigma Phi Epsilon = SigEp (same everywhere I think)

Phi Sigma Kappa = Phi Sigs

Pi Kappa Alpha = Pi Kaps.

As of Spring 2007 people stopped calling us Sigma Who since we have 41 guys (that includes our 13 Candidates).

On our campus it goes:

Sigma Nu- Sigma Nu, Snakes
Sigma Chi- no nickname
Sigma Pi- Haters say "Bi" but most people just say Sigma Pi
Kappa Sigma- Kappa Sig
Theta Chi- Ox's
Beta Theta Pi- Betas
Sigma Alpha Epsilon- SAE
Delta Upsilon- D-U, sometimes they are called Ducks
Pi Kappa Alpha- Pikes

Some sleazy sorority names I've heard (but dont' use because I'm all for positive relations) are:

Alpha Phi- All For Free
Kappa Delta- Cowpa Delta, Buffalos
Delta Gamma- Gamma Slammas
Delta Zeta- Easy DZ
Alpha Omicron Pi- "Open Wide" (rhymes with AOII)

Naturally none of the nicknames really apply...they're just dirty names that have floated around over the years.
