They definitely could be worse - I've enjoyed them live, but sometimes they mail it in, I've heard.
They're not that 'interesting' live, though - pretty funny, but it's not like seeing the Vandals or the Aquabats (two superior live bands in similar genre).
I refuse to see Blink live again, that had to be one of the worst concerts I have ever experienced. I thought they sounded like shit and more. Just my opinion though.
Check around, i know there are quite a few people that are trying to get rid of their john mayer tickets for that show....some people bought too many, some don't want to go, that kind of stuff. Check out the for sale bulletin in the UWM union, that thing is a gold mine!

I thought about it, but the idea of running into them there isn't a pleasant one. He and I are fine, I just don't want to run into the two of them. Besides, no one else I know wants to go, and I'm afraid to go to that neighbourhood by myself at night! (I've already been chased by some guy screaming at me down there...to "come party at my house, baby"
I'm seeing John Mayer in Chicago now... my cousin sold us her tickets, sooo excited about that. I love him, plus I'm going with my sister, so it will be a blast!

The Lifehouse show should be a good one too. There are so many bands/people that I want to see at Summerfest that there are too many to try to see. *sigh* I'll try to get to as many as I can, lol.
Definitely want to see John Mayer. My boyfriend even said he'd go. He's usually more at home with a NOFX crowd than a DMB one but he's seems okay with it this time around.
In Denver he's playing at this new City Light Pavillion thing. It's basically an elaborate tent set up in the parking lot next to the Pepsi Center (home of the Avs.) Crazy thing is that John Mayer is the only person playing there that our generation would want to see. The rest of the summer is booked up with Barry Manilow, 80's band reunion tours, etc.
