Looks like CHRIS ROCK will be first . . .
from EURWEB.com
A New President: March 28, 2003 is the date when President Chris Rock takes over the oval office in his film, “Head Of State.” Rock stars, and makes his directorial debut, in the comedy, which also features comedian Bernie Mac, Lynn Whitfield (“A Thin Line Between Love and Hate”), Robin Givens (“Forgive & Forget”), Tamala Jones (“The Brothers”), and Dylan Baker (Road To Perdition”), among others.
In the film, Rock’s character is about to be redlined from his job, but the untimely death of the party frontrunner causes him to get plucked from obscurity and thrust into the limelight as his party’s nominee for President of the United States. "This film is about the little man running for President. He's the lowest guy you could imagine getting a shot at the biggest title in the world. He's a "Rocky" of politics. When the nominee for President dies, the party is behind and they know they are going to lose the election. None of the good candidates will runs, so they choose me, an alderman from D.C. I'm the scapegoat, the patsy. Gilliam has a unique campaign style-- he tells the truth--which is unique in politics today. He's not constricted the way other politicians are, so he tells it like it is," explained Rock.

Totally biased
I would prefer Tucker over Rock, based on comedic effort. When it comes to being serious (and sexy) Chris Tucker wins by default!
I miss seeing Chris Tucker on the big screen, so I want to see him in as many movies as possible!

I would rather see Chris Tucker's movie made first. Chris Rock's stand-up and his TV show are funny, but just doesn't work in a movie. It's not the right outlet for him.

...And doesn't Dennis Haysbert play the President in "24"?!

how bout...NO
I went to the movies this past weekend to see the movie "Old School" (which was hilarious by the way ), and they showed a preview for this movie in there. Everyone around me was laughing (mind you I was surrounded by the "neighbors" I was one of few chocolate chips). I didn't think that the movie was that funny at all. Chris Rock looks stupid throughout the whole preview. The only funny person in the movie is Bernie Mac who is running for vice president. He plays Chris Rocks brother in the movie. Other than that it looks like it should be a box office flop, and I emphasize "should" because we all know who is going to end up going to support this movie. It is the same people that keep supporting Murder, Inc. and Ashanti. The "neighbors". I hope that Chris Tucker decides to do his movie, and comes back to wipe Chris Rocks off the map.

I don't think it's just the neighbors, however. I think it's also some of "us" who get off on lowlife entertainment. Remember, most movies are made for the lowest common denominator -- teens and those who are just out of adolescence.

I saw a screening of it yesterday.
I thought it was pretty good...strictly for entertainment (so I don't give away anything) as far as the plot is concerned. And I normally don't care for Chris Rock but he did pretty good-and Bernie Mac was a straight FOOL

I just came back from seeing it. It was a lot better than I expected. The substance was great, there was a lot of truth to the movie, however I wasn't crazy about the style, it reinforced way too many negative stereotypes like any other comedy. But hell it's the media, I can't expect too much from it.

I saw it today and liked it because of Bernie Mac. Bernie is a funny guy and I think that he saved the movie from being a total flop. All of his scenes were funny.

I saw it Saturday. It was alright. The dancing still has me laughing. I did not like Robin Givens in the film at all. Same goes for Nate Dogg.
