ITB is not secret nor it is part of ritual, as I have seen it, time and time again, written out in full and used as closing salutations in "Letters to the Editor" published in The Anchora and what not. The Anchora is the magazine that virtually all DGs receive and would leave it lying around the house, so anyone can pick it up and read it. I guess "ITB" is used discreetly, but it NOT SECRET.

My chapter uses LITB, but other chapters do not.

As a regional officer I write to several different chapters and other regional and national officers all the time. I always use ITB just to keep that consistent with how they send it.

If I write to a chapter sister, I always use LITB.

Like others have said....personal preference.

ITB is not a rituals phrase, it is not secret, and regardless of which chapter is your initiation chapter, we are all members of Delta Gamma.

ITB has been perfectly acceptable for the many many years I've been a Delta Gamma and dangit - I'm too old to change that now!

We keep LITB a secret from the New Members. I, as a New Member, had no idea of this and just went and googled it and figured it out The girls got a good chuckle out of it lol

We use ITB, and it was definitely kept a secret from us babies, but even after initiation, they sort of forgot to tell us what it was. XD Eventually, one of the older actives wrote it out in an email to the listserv on the email, and all of PC '10 had a big "Ahhhhh!" moment.
