Being "Nu" chapter or "one letter" as you said is yes very awesome stuff, the history of the chapter there dates back to a very long time ago. You might be able to find some really interesting info in "Phi Mu the first 150 years" it is the Phi Mu history book. Or ask around, im sure youll find some great info

About the Delta Delta chapter that is so very sad
I wish the sisters the very best, and may they all become very active in the alum chapter....as we all know Phi Mu is for a lifetime.

Congratulations to our new nu (lol) chapter!

I'm really sorry to hear about Delta Delta closing. My mom went to Ohio University and although she joined Sigma Kappa, she preffed Phi Mu and put it second on her pref card. All through out her college years in the late 60s and early 70s she had many friends in the delta delta chapter and always held them in high regard.

The local sorority that I am in recently decided to go national, and we are affiliating with phi Mu. We are reopening the Nu Chapter, which did exist a long time ago at Shorter.

They were having a problem getting girls to move into the house, which was ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! The Sigma Pis live there now, unfortunately. Rumor is that they will re-establish in the fall with a smaller house. Yes, they did choose to shut themselves down. Girls who were in good standing were given Alumnae status. I feel bad cuz some of those girls, the ones I met, were such sweethearts!
