My husband was the perennial pledge! Hee hee...it's actually a funny story. He originally pledged Phi Kappa Pi....then some crap happened and he got blackballed (I don't know all the details....nor do I care to know them)
Then he joined Kappa Sigma. They were only a colony on campus though, and they folded because they had the same number of guys as when the colony opened (7...they were all friends) This is when I met him, when he was a Kap Sig.....we met at my second rush event for my sorority!
He then decided to pledge Zeta Psi (at the same time as my brother) Well, to make a long story short, the brothers voted to defer him till the next semester. He decided he'd had enough and didn't come back.
He's very supportive of my sorority though!!! He made our sorority site and came to all our events when I was still active!
So in the end, my husband was greek, but is no longer a greek!

My guy is not in a fraternity. His university has about two inter/national fraternities, and one of them keeps giving him bids but he turns them down every time. I'm starting to get a kick out of it! He likes the guys, but he doesn't really see the point of joining a fraternity.
He's cool with me being a DZ, though--he didn't have a very good image of sororities because of the ones where he goes to school, but hopefully I've changed that a little.

Mr. GammaPhiBabe went to the same University that I did (w/ a strong greek system), but he didn't go greek. I don't think he ever even considered it. He was in the Marine Corps, though, so I guess that's "fraternal" enough for him.
He used to go along with me to parties when we were both in school, but now that I'm an advisor, he just tolerates my being busy with sorority stuff a lot.

My husband is a member of Lambda Chi Alpha.
My high school boyfriend of 5 1/2 years joined Sigma Chi.
The guy I dated after him was a member of Theta Chi.
My next boyfriend of 1 1/2 years was a member of Delta Tau Delta.
I pretty much stayed within the Greek system. In the town I went to school there isn't much of a social life outside the Greek system.

I don't know if I can call this guy my BF (hopefully I will, soon)...but he's a PIKE. Unfortunately his chapter shut down (for reasons I don't know why) and he upped and left and joined the Marine Corps. We met a Jamba Juice and it happened that I was wearing my letters that night. We hit it off right away!

My boyfriend is not Greek but he did consider going greek. His freshman year at UCF he rushed a frat and his junior year here at UNF he pledged Sigma Chi and droped (it wasn't for him). Oh well, unless we break up there goes my dreams of getting a lavalier.

My girl happens to be greek, she is a Delta Zeta, so I think I can relate to her more than a girl who is not greek.
Just so happens that my most recent ex was also a DZ, so my new DZ says that I'm on some kind of "DZ streak."
It's very interesting like that...

My I-don't-know-what (I call him that because we dated for two years, broke up, got back together, and now he hasn't called in EIGHT DAYS) is very very insanely oh my God hella-anti Greek. He hates the fact that I'm in a sorority, and makes fun of it all the time. He understands that they're my dearest friends, but he still makes fun of them. He won't look at any pictures that I have of any of my sisters, and he wouldn't even take me to my formal! I took my friend instead and had a BLAST!!! Any time I wear letters or like a bid day shirt he doesn't even like to hug me because he's afraid he'll catch on fire or something. It's really annoying.
And another thing, he and his friends are all really really tight, and he always says they're like a fraternity, so they're going to create their own fraternity. But it's going to be a Roman fraternity, because the Romans defeated the Greeks.
Can you tell I'm not too happy about it?
