-When the residence halls are dead silent and everyone is somewhere studying their lives away.

you only go to class once a week to find out about new assignments....

when you stop reading the chapters in the textbook......

when no one at school has any declining balance left on their meal plans........

when you make up reasons why you can't go to class...ie....I'm sick...my dog is sick....the tires on my car are not properly balanced............

when you begin to figure out whats the lowest grade you can make in a class and still maintain a halfway respectable GPA......

when as much as you love your LS's they start to get on your nerves cuz ya'll spend so much time together.........

I thought I was the ONLY one....I started this semester determined to make a 4.0. In my math class, i just started slacking off towards the end. I was just like "Okay, if I miss this last test and do good on the final I can still make an A!" MAN that crap backfired...I got a 88 in the class, which is a B...COULD YOU NOT GIVE ME MY TWO POINTS???

Which brings me to my list...
...you start thinking of all the extra credit you blew off
...every point matters
...you find it harder to get out of bed each morning (if you take morning classes), or you find something good on television that you just CAN'T miss (if you take evening classes)
...you start looking forward to next semester's overage check
...you want to call in to work just to "rest" after you take your finals!!!

1. You start to wonder how much money you can get for selling your textbooks

2. You calculate exactly how well you would have to do on the final exam in order to get a decent grade for the semester.

3. You're thinking about changing your major.

4. You now longer care about how you look.

5. "Sleep" becomes a foreign term for you b/c you are up all night studying (or at least supposed to be).

6. You try to become the professor's best friend b/c you need letters of recommendation for grad school.

7. You start making plans for your semester breaks. Yeah!!!

You missed so much class that you are begging your professors to give you an incomplete as opposed to an F

You have so much money left on your declining balance that you are buying overpriced cases of Coke and Powerade (this happened my last semster of undergrad; if I did not spend it all, I would not get that money back. So I bought cases of Coke and Powerade that cost like $40.00 EACH in the caf as opposed to costing 1/2 that at Meijer) Also, you are buying breakfast, lunch, and dinner for all of your friends.

You take your finals wearing a pajama top, bottom, or both with a scarf on your head b/c you are going right back to sleep afterwards.

When the caf serves "midnight breakfast"

When you stand in looooooonnnnggg lines at the bookstore and when you FINALLY get up to the front, you only get maybe $5 back for a book you paid $75 for or worse, they tell you, "That professor has not requested that book for the next semester."

--When you've finished six extra credit assignments in two days because you're trying to make up for missing all those days of class

--When you ask your friends if they have any books they don't want anymore so that you can try to sell them back to the bookstore

--When people's apartments and rooms start getting robbed and the only thing taken is textbooks

...when it's Wednesday nite and you are getting ready to go to the CLUB - not Bible Study, b/c you are so pumped you made it through the semester you just have to "drop it like it's hot" one time before the year is out.
