Dang!!!

Even though this was an April Fool's joke you had me convinced. (*I shouldn't be so gullible*) I was trippin off Tavis co-hosting Rap City and Bill Clinton hosting 106 and Park. I wouldn't be upset if they cancelled Cita's World though cuz she get on my last nerve.

CT4,

Now you know I love you like an older sister but that was WRONG!!! Yes it was. I'm going to have to agree with Blackwatch on this one.. but it is good that you trying to get folks to laughing.

Now you know that aint't right

You REALLY had me going. I was really trippin off the men flexing behind the women on the comic view stage. (I don't know why but that just struck me) That was a good April Fool's joke but a sad comentary on BET. They really need to get it together!

I was just sitting here smiling and thinking that my prayers for a better Black America had been answered. I was even wondering if Bob Johnson was still at the helm and if so, when did he receive his wake-up call. All up until the Bill Clinton quote. I thought "this has to be a joke." And, it's a shame but I was right.

CT4, you got me.

Once upon a time I had high hopes for BET and then it turned into a nightmare, or more to the point the newest minstral show. Blackwatch has a point about the "new" audience of BET. The images that BET puts out there are the ones that the white world would like to believe we represent. As for the boycott aspect that is an avenue worth persuing. I believe a product boycott would be more effective then just saying we are not going to watch the station anymore. Maybe target a specific product that advertises on BET. That's my 22 cents.

Well, since then, Cita has been replaced and Hits is gone too. I rejoiced when I didn't hear her annoying azz voice anymore, although she was kinda funny with some of her comments....

Aah, yes...y'all had to bring this thread back up. At least Cita really is gone. But now we have "Hey Monie." I don't know what to think of her.

This is when I knew it was a joke. Damn this was SO WRONG.
