Penn is very pro-greek. They have a good system in place and it's really progressive.

AKA, AphiA, and Delta are at Harvard., but i believe they share with wellesley and MIT, perhpas a few others. these three are also at columbia, at least. AKA is housed at columbia, and shares with NYU and a couple others. Pace U. has their own chapter, IIRC.

(what little info i know)

DU was at Brown from 1868-1967 went local along with many other chapters at Brown as KDU, rejoined DU in 1986. At the 1986 DU convention the Brown DU'S proposed a statement denouncing South Africa discrimination, guys were a little out of step with the 80's Greeks from the big state schools but they did like to have fun. Brown DU withdrew again 1992 when Initiation Fees and dues went up, became KDU again , KDU left campus in 1997 after a possible arson/fire was discovered in the KDU Wriston Quadrangle house. I don't know if KDU exists off campus or if Brown would allow DU to recolonize. Brown was once one of DU'S strongest chapters, Charles Evans Hughes, former Presidential nominee, Gov. of New York and Supreme Court Chief Justice (1930-1941 ) was a member, his Judicial Robes and Gavel were donated to the house.
I hate it when a 130 year tradition disappears overnight.
Harvard DU is active but unrecognized by Harvard U. Does anyone know about Harvard Final clubs.
Dous DU have underground chapters at Williams, Amherst, Colby And Bowdoin where our chapters were banned or forced to go local or withdrew due to University pressure?I don't have any info except a group at Middlebury survived for a few years in the mid 90's.

There are 3 NPC GLOs at Harvard: Kappa Kappa Gamma, Kappa Alpha Theta, and Delta Gamma.

They are basically local fraternities. Their rush, or punch, is invitation-only. They are quite different from one another -- some host a lot of parties, others are extremely private and operate as gentlemen's clubs in the old British tradition, some are strongly associated with certain varsity teams, etc. In the last few years there have been great conflicts between the undergrads, who want to host open parties, admit women, etc., and alumni members, who want the clubs to stay the WASP drinking clubs they once were.
