I am so upset that I missed that! I completely forgot that it was supposed to be on last night!
I was hoping that Michelle Kwan would win the gold. I thought she deserved in a way after losing it to Tara Lipinski at the 98 Olympics. But, I'm happy that an American won. I just feel really bad for Michelle Kwan. Does anyone know if she plans on competing again in the 2006 Olympics?

From what they said last night on tv...that was her last Olympic performance. It's really sad that she's going to go out like that. I'd like to see her perform in 2006 but who knows.
Kwan always gets so much attention before her events... than never gets gold. The United States hockey team wasn't on the front cover of espn.com, it was kwan is going for the gold.

Funny you should say that...I think it was Time Magazine that got a lot of criticism for putting Hughes instead of Kwan on the cover prior to the Olympics. Turns out they picked the right girl.
