hi TOA, nice meeting you!
that's a good point, since everyone usually puts on a "game face"--you know, what we want others to see...
oh, but i believe that when women make a conscious choice to OPEN OUR EYES, EARS, AND MINDS, we can tell lots about a man while he's "rollin'"--whether he's willing to reveal it (or we're willing to accept it) or not!
to answer the question, i always notice(d) personality, viewpoint and intelligence first.
(ladies, listen and ponder CAREFULLY what a man says FROM THE BEGINNING--you can learn a lot about an individual from jump street!)

Of course I notice the physical attributes of a person first so...
Physically: His lips and his eyes
But, that will attract me..not keep me...
So, other than physical attributes, the first thing I notice is:
How sincere he is.

Okay, here I go....
The first thing I'd notice about a man is his smile (especially the smile) and upkeep. If he's dressed like he just rolled out of bed and threw on anything, then he's not likely to keep up his appearance when he's with me.

Are Yall sure....?
Ladies,
Suppose you meet a man who works a hard, dirty job? Will you STILL judge him based on his appearance? How will you judge such a brutha? Will you assume him to be not ambitious enough? Will you assume that he has no college education?

I'm with Orginial Ape on this one....
How in the world you can tell a man's TURE spirit and personality when you frist meet him is beyond me. Everybody at least will try to put they're best foot forward when you first meet them, some whether that foot is real or not. That's cool though, my sister told me when I asked her a couple of years ago that women usually look for haircut, white teeth, nice shoes, and smell. that was 7 years ago though, but I guess it doesn't change much.

LOUD & CLEAR
TOA if a man works a hard dirty job, and on first appearance he 's in work clothes, my eyes still check out that ring finger......
I;m blue collar, and make a great salary, so I never assume blue collar workers have no education....most of us do !

That's why you're special!
Special,
You must know already that you're an exception to the rule. Most women don't see things that way.
