Now from what I can tell we all have different methods of dealing with this problem. At my chapter, we generally have our parties at a club and there are usually people there who aren't greek or in college so we keep the strolling to a minium. We usually don't wear 'naila, but you catch on when there are several women in a line dancing (duh). If someone chooses to break the line they get the look-> the explaination-> then the diss if they don't get the point. Usually, we don't bump or push cause we don't know how crazy these people are. Strolls aren't worth getting shot over. We also tighten the line and if someone jumps on the end we try to close off the line so the last person is not strolling or again with the explaination or the dirty looks.
Funny story though. We were at a club, broke into a walk and an older, and I think foreign, gentleman tried to dance/flirt with the girls at the end of the line. He grabbed our hands and tried not to take no for an answer. We kept trying to get away from him but he followed us ALL OVER THE CLUB! I mean dang, get a clue!

What we do at our school when someone tries to break through our line is to link up and tell them no you can't break through the line go around. but sometimes people just keep trying and trying and we don't push but through an arm up to stop them from passing.
They usually initiate the pushing by insisting on breaking through the line and thats when they get tossed up.
FUNNY STORY: There are a group of girls who have created a "club" i guess its anti greek. they wear matching outfits and stroll at parties. they think its funny to dart through our lines. one tried and got caught. My Ship said no you can't come through the line. The girl decides to get hostile and try to grab my Ship. My ship ended up pretzel wrapping the girl hand together and shoving her two feet back. SoRHOrs go to see what's this girls problem and try to explain to her you can't walk through our lines. She bellows out F**k your organzation and one of my Ships muffed her. Some Deltas walked up and told her and her friends that that wasn't a fight that she wanted to pick. And security kindly escorted her and her friends out the party.
Something else that is funny and irritating is when the Alphas or other Fraternities try to test how strong we are when we stroll. And they purposely try to break through our lines. Saying oops or playing double dutch. They stop once they get tired of getting tossed back!!

Depends on how they cut through the line. If they bust through there like "bytch move" then it's a problem. But if it's like "my bad, sorry bout that." then it's cool.

We never let anyone break our line! By any means neccessary, we stay tight...

The only time it happens here, it happens by design. People here know what they're doin'; and that's why it just don't pay to try and talk sense to them *******. You gotta make them pay or it'll continue. Respect don't come cheap!
