I liked my big but we didn't have much in common… at least way back then. She liked to go clubbing and I liked old movies. We were just very different people. A handful of years after graduation we reconnected at an alumnae event and discovered that we had both wound up in the same career even though neither of us had majored in it. All of a sudden we had tons in common!
On the other side, I wound up having three littles including one set of twins. I liked all of them but life took us to different parts of the country and we lost touch. Surprisingly, I became uber close to another girl in my twins' pledge class and remain close to this day. We live 2000 miles apart but view OPA's national convention as a major way to catch up each year. And that's next week. Hurrah!!!
