Okay, I am going to play devils advocate for awhile.
The women that have passed through the halls of your house and been initiated before you have helped put your chapter where it is. They, too, are your sisters. It is not a responsibility of your pledge class to "CHANGE" your chapter, it is up to every sister that is currently active to make an effort to make your chapter better. I think every sorority has the idea to strive to be better people, no matter what words they use to put that in, and I can tell you want to do this. But please don't exclude those sisters that are not in your pledge class, if you think you have a high drop our rate now, let all of the "older" sisters drop out and see how you are left without direction and valuable history of your chapter. And since your advisory board will be sisters who helped to get your chapter where they are you may want to be careful about what help they afford you. Those are some points I hadn't seen touched on that I wanted to point out.
