It bwings them togevuh. But the Fire Swamp is reserved for AOIIs, amirite? And the ROUSSES are renegade AGDs. Squirrels gone to the dark side, you know. And there's the ADPi Violet Volcano. Don't forget about that.

What else have you guys figured out?

But they do have a lot of 5 pointed crowns in the movie. To be fair, we had a rumor that Beauty and The Beast had an AOII tie in when it came out. That's why it had the red rose featured in the story. Collegians will grasp for anything. I later saw the same claim for Phi Sig. LOL.

I don't know about "secrets" but when it comes to open symbols, this movie seems more connected to Tri-Delt.

So this means that no one on here will tell me what the snake pit at Sigma Kappa rituals is used for? Dang it.

It's funny but it seems that even fraternities have these rumors as well...Robert Redford is a Kappa Sigma and we were always told about certain movies where he supposedly used "secret kappa sigma hand signals" and stuff, but those too were merely legends...

The only "known" public revealing of some initiation stuff can be found in the Steppenwolf song "Magic Carpet Ride"....this has a good deal of interest to Lambda Chi Alphas.

In all the movies ever made I'm sure there can always be found "something" that may have meaning to some organization if you look hard enough....most of what I've ever noticed would deal more with FreeMasonry than anything else.

Nope, that's another coincidence morphed into Greek Urban Legend. None of the members of Steppenwolf were Lambda Chis. John Kay, who wrote "Magic Carpet Ride," didn't go to college. (Ditto the other members, I think.)

More on "Magic Carpet Ride" and Lambda Chi.

I did not know this....thanks for the clarity. I never researched it since it deals with "secrets" and figured that had I done so I wouldn't get far since I wasn't member. I'm glad someone from their org did clear things up. (I know a friend of mine who is an LXA played the song at his wedding with all his brothers dancing around.....I don't think he's read this article either! He'll be bummed for sure!
