As a neighbor (CSU active) I wish you so so much luck! It's rare to find stories about schools so close to home!

Thanks so much! And you're right - where are all the SoCal girls on GreekChat? The lack of representation is part of the reason I decided to post my own story

Please do! I love hearing about all things colonization. It's a bit of a black box to me because I haven't been involved in it personally, and my school wasn't open for expansion while I was there. It's just a perk that it happens to be Kappa! And if you aren't feeling it for some reason, that's fine. Rude is bad, but constructive is good. That pretty much applies to life in general, not just recruitment
Two more days until you start recruitment... good luck!

Recruitment begins this evening! I'm so excited, but also very nervous! Hopefully this story will have a fairy tale ending
Because our first event goes until 12 am tonight, I will probably update either later in the weekend or early next week. Hate to keep you ladies waiting, but I'm going to need my beauty sleep
Thank you all so much for wishing me luck!

Your successful recruitment is the important part. Just keep good notes and let us know later on. That way you also don't have to dribble it out. And good vibes heading your way from Fashion Island too!

I am hoping that she is just having so much fun with her new group. Hopefully she will come back soon to finish her story. This was going to be the first time I knew anything about the campus in a recruitment story.

I have a few friends with daughters attending Chapman who've gone through recruitment. Chapman is a relatively small school but they have a high number of girls who go through recruitment. Chapman does not have physical houses and their recruitment is 3 days. Some girls had painless recruitments and some dropped when they didn't get "the top houses" or got "the bottom houses".
