There is an article about them in this week's people. Not judging, but they mentioned that each of her kids have a different daddy. Either her goodies are lined in gold or there are some desperate assed men in her neck of the woods
I'm just sayin...

I read somewhere that the new baby was born, and has an extra thumb...

BWAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Seriously!! What in heaven's name attracts men to those "Two Tons of Fun"?? And how in the world does she turn down Sugarbear's proposals? She should be thanking her lucky stars that any man stays in this wreck-neckedness of a family.

Oh Lord... it is on right now. Poor Glitzy. I am afraid they will be eating pork roast for Thanksgiving....

I am not going to speak for thetalady, but I see where she is coming from. You can be ANY size and look sloppy. Mama doesn't even put herself together--doesn't even try to fix herself up. She comes off to me as straight up trashy and sloppy. Mama is TORE UP FROM THE FLOOR UP.

And I am saying this as a plus sized woman!

PM Mama00, I am sorry to have offended you. I guess I was in a bit of a snarky mood today. There is SO much about this family that is a train wreck. Having been more than Reubenesque until recently myself, it was tacky to mention her weight.

Just saw the episode with Kaitlin and her 3 thumbs.... ick. Hopefully they will have one of those thumbs removed. This child has enough to overcome without being teased for having 11 fingers!

And now we have Uncle Poodle teaching her to do "pretty feet" and cartwheels. He might be the most normal one of the bunch!

One of our radio stations does a contest called "What did Honey Boo Boo say?". They play a clip and the caller has to translate. It sometimes takes 30 minutes and the clip being played multiple times for someone to finally figure it out. Funny enough, more often than not it's usually a native Yankee that gets it.

Can't believe I'm admitting to watching this, but ...

Why couldn't someone have offered poor Alana a tissue last week?

AMEN!! And I know that they have plenty of tissues in that house... hundreds of boxes all lined up on shelves, it seems.

Does anyone else think that the pageant judges are actually laughing AT this child? I don't think they are smiling because they are being entertained in a good way. It is one thing for the mother not to care if people laugh at her.

I dread seeing the "Whatever Happened to Honey Boo Boo" show in 25 years and seeing what has become of HBB when she realizes this.

I simply cannot watch this show for even one second, so I thought the remark that the baby was born with two thumbs was a joke. (I would have thought a tail was more likely.) When I realized that you all were serious, I Googled it, saw the photo, and it's true! OML. I pity that poor baby for so many reasons, and the extra thumb is the least of them.

/swerve

I know a man (who is a successful attorney) who was born with two thumbs, and there is a surgical reason that one was not removed. Something to do with losing the function of the remaining thumb. This may be indicative of any of a number of genetic syndromes, FWIW. It may also have been a fluke in utero.

My objection is that the baby has no say in being exposed on television, and clearly this family is lacking in the very basics of good judgment as well as common sense.
