These awards are NOT decided upon by votes, it is STRICTLY by RECORD SALES, the number of weeks, months a personn/group was number ONE, etc, according to Billboard Magazine.

NOW, my commentary...
I don't like Britney Spears. I didn't feel her performance. I don't like lip synching. LMAO! BOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Like I said in my HCs at AKAVE, I don't think peeps got into the Angie, Alicia, Eve thing. THAT CHIT WAS ON POINT! THE SONG IS ON POINT! If WE don 't believe, trust, support OUR brothers, who will, who is?

Michelle looked good, I like that Green hat

I think P had something to do with that. But, props to the home people. I wasn't mad at MRS. Percy Miller (Master P) for coming up on the stage when her baby won. LMAO

Bernie Mac was a fool.

I didn't feel Pink and that "act". But at least she didn't lip sync.

I love that "Gone" by N'sync. Did anyone see ole boy mess up and put the mic to his mouth before he was to "sing"?

Did anyone see that chick (dancer) with Shaggy trip? I hit the floor! This was in the beginning. I don't think he had come on stage yet.

There really wasn't a rapport, per se between Jill and that country chick. Jill was looking at her and the teleprompter like...whatEVER...LMAO!

I don't know what was up with Janet and that walk.

That Matt McConahey(sp?) "Book of Jobe" was on point.
I loved John "Cougar" Mellencamp back in the day too...shhhhhh don't tell anyone. LMAO!

What was up with Wayne Newton saying something about "chap" and NOT "cap in your ###"? Wear your glasses ole man!

At the end, was Faith already on stage? Did she present? Because Mary and Angie were ad libbing (tearing that chit up) and then all of a sudden FAITH comes on with a mic in her hand.
Are they speaking these days? You know back in the day there was some tension and thangs.

Jill sang at the end on the "What's Going On" Finale

Did you all recognize Marvin's daughter Nona Gaye? (the end) She had that red on, looking like she was higher than a kite. IMHO
She used to date Prince back in the day. I think in the early 90's she had ONE song. I can remember the video where she was under this waterfall or something.

Actually, this was my first time watching this awards show in its entirety.

Actually, Angie's hair is done with that STRAW set. You know with weave and thangs. When I got my hair cut and I had the straw set done, my hair did that/looked like that. NOW, that it has grown out, I ain't even much trying to go there (too much dayum time). It would not look like that now.

Shaggy can't dance worth a damn, and I can't beleive his album sold 10 million copies. Yes I saw that girl trip! I rewinded it about a millon times! And was it just me or was Shaggy a little cocky with his acceptance speech?

Ok I tried to be optimistic, but I REALLY didn't like the remix of brotha. I hate when a good song has to turn into a damn hip hop medley. And I can't believe I'm saying this, but I did not like Alica Keys hair! But Eve's hair was the bomb, minus the outfit.

I liked the end with all of them on stage. Did anyone see when Kelly hit Michelle in the lips with the mic? I was like damn.

Bernie Mac is absolutely hilarious!!!!!!!! Did anybody else notice that Beyonce had a little trouble walking up the steps to accept their award (like her dress was too tight to allow freedom of movement).
