WOW! I've never heard of anything so gross in all of my life! At least my bad formal date didn't show up drunk. He did however disappear for half of the formal to get high. What are these guys thinking?!!

Well I'm gonna take up for S. So what that he got smashed before 4. Sounds like a good time to me. He was just taking full advantage of the entire day. Kudos to him for good time management concerning his drinking. Why he was drinking anything pepermint is beyond me, but oh well. And that brings up another point, what was he doing drinking coke in the first place? Maybe I need to deduct some points from his scorecard for drinking non alcoholic beverages.
Now the whole bathroom thing. Now thats comedy. I would have just kicked it down after the first 10 times of fidgiting with it. WABAM!!!!!! Nevermind that call for help you guys, I figured it out on my own.
I wish the guy had made it to your formal, now that would have been a good story.
None the less, sorry that he disrespected you.

Oh I forgot part of the story!!! Not only did he have that flask of Rumpelmintz (for that minty fresh feeling ), he ALSO had a flask of rum in another jacket pocket. That's what he was drinking with the coke.
I had tried to say a couple times, "Haven't you had enough?" but he just laughed at me and would keep drinking. Or he'd say Ok and put it away, but then as soon as I turned around, pull it right back out. Like he was all sneaky or something.
Memo to S: You are a SIX AND A HALF FOOT GUY sitting RIGHT NEXT TO ME. Plus you are OUT OF YOUR HEAD DRUNK. Anything you do, I'm probably going to see! Not winning any points for being slick, that's for sure.

Whoa...this is unbelievable. That's absolutely CRAZY! That's far far worse than my date telling me, "well, if you want to go out, I suggest you take your own car..." Did I mention he made me pay for dinner? Not just dutch, ALL OF IT!
Glad to know that the date trauma isn't limited to me!

Got to go with KA on that one . . . What are the odds that such an experienced drinker would get sick like that . . . just badd luck.
Just a blind date gone wrong . . .
Bad that he ruined your formal like that, but he gave you a great story . . . and look at the revenge you got! He caused you a few hours of inconvenience, and you managed to cock block him and ruin his reputation for years!

when i was a junior in high school I asked this guy in my history class to my drill team formal, we were really good friends and i kind of thought he was cute. Anyway he said yes and i was really excited. The day of the formal, i go out and get my hair done, makeup, and even had my dress altered. I also had to call him to give him directions to my house but everytime i would call his house i wouldnt get an answer. So i called a mutual friend of ours which was also going to the formal and asked him what was up. He didnt know what was happening, and tried calling him too. Ends up he didnt get a hold of him, so around 5pm i start getting very nervous and upset. He never called me nor did i ever get a hold of him. I was dressed and ready to go.... a bunch of my friends told me they were going to swing by my house with their dates to pick me up anyway but i didnt want to. Everyone going had dates and i didnt want to be the only one there alone so i sat at home and pretty much cried the whole night. On monday i was so pissed at him, i didnt want to even look at him, so he "wrote" me a letter saying his parents grounded him the night before and didnt let him go to the formal, and he already had his tux and everything. His parents didnt even let him use the phone to call me which i thought was bizarre. Our friendship was never the same after that!
