Maybe they are just generic signs that Lowe's can use for any occasion.
Same for drive-up ATMs that have Braille on them.

Areas around me have it completely in Vietnamese or another Asian Language.

I find those so awesome, but I can have a very sick sense of humor!

@Honeychile, that's kind of like the signs in restaurants that say "we have menus available in Braille." Well, if you are alone, ya have to be able to see to read the sign...
Yeah, I agree that the signs in Lowe's are standard, but some people get so irritated that we might, in any way, be "catering" to people who are "too lazy to learn the language."
Personally I like Lowe's and hope ours isn't on "the list"...they are the only one around here, but there are so many in the suburban areas. It's not suprising to see some of them closing, particularly since the housing boom is so over.
Usually they will do a Wal Mart and Lowe's in the same plaza...In the neighboring county, there's literally a Wal-Mart every 5 miles or less for a 25 mile stretch. Insane.
10% of Lowe's closing isn't a "big deal"...but when they start closing Wal-Marts, that will officially signal the coming of the Apocylapse. Be preapred, and remember you heard it here first.

Signs where I live are in English and Arabic. I'm surprised I almost never see signs in Hindi, Urdu or Tagalog, spoken FAR more commonly here than either Arabic or English.
And many MANY of us our counting the days until the rumored Target opens up here. Forget about a Home Depot or Lowe's type store. But then, DIY isn't really a thing here.

I love Lowe's simply because they let me walk my dog around in there. Or I should say, they let me wheel him around in his wagon. It helps lift his spirits to fight the cancer to get him out and about. And I love the people who remember us, and ask about him, even when we don't have him with us. When it's too hot to walk outside in the summer, we love to just wheel him around Petsmart, Petco, and Lowe's!

So Cal... we have a few cities that are heavily populated by the Asian community.

Home Depot will also allow you bring dogs in. You can add that to your list of Dog friendly stores.

I can beat that with Target in our area. There is 4 Targets in less than a 7 mile radius and no Wal-Marts for miles.
