Does anyone remember a show called "Rags to Riches". My brother swears I was addicted to it way back when, but I hardly remember anything about it. I think it was four orphaned girls living with a rich man, but I could be just adding a few girls to the movie 'Annie', who knows!

oh my goodness, I used to watch that alllll the time, that was one of my absolute favorites, lol
oh oh , I did forget family ties
Theres one that I can't remeber the name of, but it's like a 70's/80's tv show, and it was about a family and Billy Crystal was on there and another guy on there had a dummy puppet it was a whole rack of people , does anyone know what show I am talking about?

I was (and still am) a tv junkie. My favorite shows of the 80s are:
Punky Brewster (I even had an outfit like her when I was 6!)
Rags to Riches
Family Ties
Growing Pains
Alf
Pinwheel (a Nickelodeon CLASSIC)

Three's Company was AWESOME....I still watch it on Nick At Nite. Do Love Boat and Fantasy Island count as 80s shows? I thought they were 70s shows but I loved them.....watched every Sat. night.
Just as a side note, my hubby and I chaperoned prom 2 years ago and one of his golfers was wearing this white tux and white shoes. I went up to him teasingly and said "Well, hello there Mr. Roarke." He had NO IDEA what I was talking about!!!!!! I was like, "Mr. Roarke, you know, Fantasy Island???" He said "Well I wasn't really born then....." I wanted to smack his rotten pimply little teenaged face!!!! LOL

Erika's post brings to mind this Halloween when a little boy with REALLY GREAT Ace Frehley make-up (to those of you who are wondering who the hell Ace Frehley is, he played guitar in the group Kiss. You know Kiss, Gene Simmons with the long tongue spitting blood? Anyhoo...) came up to our door. I said, "Wow, that is a great Ace Frehley costume." and the little boy said that everyone was telling him that. Then he paused and said, "Well, actually, just the old people"
Sorry to bust in on this thread, please continue...

Killarney, that kid would have gotten a tube of Ben Gay thrown in his bag, not candy!!! (Sorry, sonny, it's all we old people have to offer!!!!!)
I had a ten year old boy come through dressed like a pimp....fur coat, fedora, big gold chain with $ on it and all.....I told him he was the youngest pimp I ever saw and he flashed me this grin and said, "Why thank you!" Future studmuffin...

Soap - by far the funniest TV show of the late 70s/80s. I remember one New Years Eve, Comedy Central had the Soap-athon, and it was AWESOME!!
I'm also big on Three's Company and Knotts Landing!

I thought Taxi was one of the best sitcoms of the 80's.
Does anyone remember a show called 21 Jumpstreet?

My favorite was Dynasty, by far!
Joan Collins is STILL doing theatre here in the UK - damn she's in good shape too, with or without the shoulder pads!
Does anybody remember Falcon Crest, with Jane Wyman (I think she is Ronald Reagan's ex-wife)??
