I love Lilly Pulitzer, Brooks Brothers, Ralph Lauren, J. Crew, Tory Burch, etc... I also love Talbots for work/chapter clothes! People always seem surprised that I shop there because they think it's an "old lady" store, but they have really nice, cute things that last forever!

I also have good luck at Target sometimes!

AnotherKD- I agree about Prada!! I feel like they are coasting on their big name and often don't deliver on quality! But I love Mui Mui, especially for fun bags!

Lilly (plus more) @ Saks. When they have 50% off clearance, I'm all about that.

Jeans: Gap and Old Navy. I prefer Gap because their quality is better, but I have to wait for their sales.

Tops: Goodwill and Target, mostly. The Goodwill by my house gets what Target doesn't sell, which is sweet!

Dresses: Wherever I can find something inexpensive.

/sidetrack/ I have really strict prices that I won't go over for any item (unless it's something that I absolutely need or just need in a certain time frame, which is rare). They are $7 for a top, $15 for jeans/shorts, $10 for skirts, $20 for a nice dress, $10 for a casual dress, $20 for a good, multi-use handbag, and less than $5 for any type of jewelry/accessory I don't need. It helps because I really really love to shop but I already have a LOT of clothing and rarely have much extra money, so it makes it kind of like a game. Like right now I'm looking for a brown shoulder bag that can double as a book bag and I've been looking for months. I may have to up my price for this one, but I've also been looking online so we'll see. It really is fun, but I am going to have to splurge soon for a real suit. Though that is really a must have.

AlphaFrog: The Saks here has, on New Year's day, a take 70% off the sale price. Great sales!!

I am old so my clothing choices are tend to be in the Bloomingdales/Saks/Neimans (on sale).

Nordstrom Rack (great sales on my most fave brands of denim.) Express (for more everyday things.)

I can really only fit Express jeans well (if we're talking mall stores) so most of my denim is from there. I'm a small person and not too many other stores carry jeans that fit me well.

Stores: TJ Maxx, Belk, Anne Taylor LOFT. Local shops/boutiques. Online stores (Bluefly, Gilt, Zappos).

Brands: Michael Kors, Anne Taylor, DKNY, Tahari, Kate Spade.

In college, I bought most of my clothes at Target & Old Navy. Now I tend to buy less clothes and spend more on what I do buy. It's higher quality and will stick around longer. (I'm not a particularly trendy person, so when I buy something, I mean for it to last.)

I just graduated from college, but a good 75% of my clothes are from Express. I'm really tiny and their clothes just fit me! Jeans are mostly Charlotte Russe, although I did just pick up a pair of Joe's from a sample sale and I absolutely love them. I'm obsessed with Polo's cable knit sweaters...northern Indiana winters are absolutely brutal

In general though...
Stores: Express, Carsons, Nordstroms Rack, Target
Designers: Michael Kors, Burberry, BCBG, Ralph Lauren, Lilly!

Stores: Nordstrom, Macy's, St. John's, Ralph Lauren, Levis, and Lady Footlocker.

Clothing: St. Johns, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Girl, Donna Karan, and Liz Claiborne. Oh, and I love Anne Klein, too. Calvin Klein is okay, I guess. It's just that I don't wear a lot of CK.

I find when I go there looking for something, I never find it. When I just stop in is when I go home with a bag full.

"Just stopping in" at Marshall's always ends up in gorgeous shoes. There was a Marshall's very close to where I used to live and they always sold great shoes. Haven't been to one in ages, one of the first thing I'll do once I'm back in the U.S
