It wasn't that big a deal. A guy PMed me and claimed that he was a Beta Beta (Trinity College) alumnus and was now living in NYC. He asked if I could get him in touch with the Delta (NYU) alumni. I said sure, but asked for his information so I could give it to them. But the entire time I was suspicious because he didn't sign his pms as a Brother even though I did. So I got in touch with IHC and they never heard of the guy. Told him and he claimed that they probably didn't get the paper work and I never heard from him again.

AOIIs are known for their intelligence, charm, strong sisterhood and dedication to improving their communities - just like every other NPC group.

Um...you were taught wrong. It's AOII or AO with a Pi symbol. It's never AOi or AOPi (though older sisters write it that way.) We don't use one I because it makes no sense.

I think your stereotype is... the dumb one. As for AOII, I agree with my sister-- it's a great organization!

All the AOis I know are rude, stupid, fat, lazy and slutty.
There, that make you feel better?
(those of you who know better )

Huh? No one is "kind enough" to gossip and perpetuate stereotypes about a well-respected national organization?
Leaving aside that there rarely is such a thing as a national stereotype of an organization -- what stereotypes there may be tend to vary from campus to campus or region to region -- why in the world do you think people here would be interested in perpetuating stereotypes*? And if you love your sisters and your organization as much as you claim to, why would you want to ask anyone to perpetuate stereotypes abot them? Why would you care what any stereotypes are?
Bottom line: One of the basic GC rules is that we don't do reputations/stereotypes here. Like your big (from whom you should have taken the hint), we know better.
* a set of inaccurate, simplistic generalizations about a group that allows others to categorize them and treat them accordingly

If you want to be welcomed on GC with open arms, come by the AOII forum and introduce yourself. Stick around for awhile and read some of the threads on the Greek Life and Recruitment forums. You'll soon figure out why your question was in poor taste and may get a greater understanding of the power of friendship. I've been an AOII for 18 years and have served as an advisor. There is no such thing as a "national stereotype" so stop asking. Also if you haven't figured out that "stereotypes" are generalizations that usually don't describe the majority in a group, then keep on worrying about your local stereotype.

Well said! For that matter, there isn't a "national" (or international) for any sorority, our beloved AOII or any other. You'll find that GC is generally a pretty Panhellenic place, and as others have said, we don't talk stereotypes around here. OP, Please come to our forum and introduce yourself. We love to meet more of our AOII sisters here on GC.

If you love your organization and your sisters, what does the "national stereotype" matter? You're part of an amazing organization and that's all that should matter. Getting caught up in what others think of your organization as a whole will only make you miserable.
