Cat's in the Cradle by Jim Croce as I recall.
And I know the real words to Louie Louie -- and they aren't dirty.
Great songs from everyone. Brown Eyed Girl reminds me so much of college because of a certain young lady behind the stadium...
Also, used to sit in the Varsity Club in Columbus and listen to Sinatra and Glen Yarborough.
Sorry.

"Paradise by the Dashboard Light"! Love that song! "American Pie" is a classic of my chapter's also, as is "Shook Me All Night Long" and Tom Petty's "American Girl".
Bryan Adams' "Summer Of '69" is my own personal fave because a pledge sister and I made up our own words to the song our sophomore year. We still sing our version whenever it comes on the radio, and I requested it played at her wedding reception a couple of years ago so that we could dance to it!

DZrose, you just brought back SUCH a memory for me. My sophomore year, right after Wayne's World came out, my best XO friend Lori and I were the ultimate SAE groupies. We were both going to formal with SAEs and we used to hang out there constantly. I used to write these goofy little things to her to crack her up, and for fun one time I wrote a song to the tune of "Bohemian Rhapsody" but called it "Eleusinian Rhapsody." It was all about us and the SAEs. She loved it and we memorized it, going so far as to perform it for our sisters. We even did the head-banging part, which got us in trouble one night. We were sitting in my car in the parking lot of the education building, cramming down some Taco Bell before we headed to the SAE party. To get pumped up we decided to pop my Queen disc in and sing our song.....as we were banging our heads, my whole car was shaking (I had a little Toyota Celica) and this cop drove by......he thought we were on drugs....boy did he laugh at us when we told him what we were doing......!!!!!

Jesus, how did I forget all of those...must be too much alcohol.
And yeah, as the random kid from Connecticut, everyone knows that I'm definitely pretending when I sing along to the country stuff ("How Do You Like Me Now by Toby Keith," etc.)
