grrrrrr ...... still no Quarterly and no one getting back to me about my member # . However, I know they are extremely busy, so I will again wait. 'sigh'

I know this is a total stttttrreeettchhhhh (lol) for a lot of sisters, but could you get in touch with your collegiate and/or alumnae chapter? They might keep an "easily accessible" list of sisters by initiation number.

Well there is another way in which you can find your initiation # besides the Quarterly and asking your chapter. I remebered that during the summer a sister and I were looking for something and we came upon our Alumnae/Membership cards, that you are suppose to get after your initiated. (we never got them, but we took them b/c they said we were suppose to get them). I remembered that the card had a number on it and tried it........Wa-lah! . Its my member number. So if you have the card use that....However I still WANT my Quarterly .

This is random, but I was trying to find some AGD's were I live hopefully to start a JC or Alum Club, and I find the sister of this kid who i liked alot an AGD, and a girl I went to HS with is one also. It really is a small world

its this card we got with the AGD crest one it saying that :

(fill in the name) Is A life member of Alpha beta Alumnae Chapter and is entitled to full privledges in any alumnae chapter in the fraternity without further payment of dues

Signed by the International Council of the Fraternity...didnt everyone get one?

My LMAD card is somewhere in my "keep forever" file but I can't put my hands on it at the moment -- it has a number on it but it doubt it corresponds with the number on my Q label. I got the LMAD card in 1971 and I am sure that automated mailing systems have changed many times since then.

Each of us has several AGD numbers. You sign the roll when you're initiated (and when you pledge? does anyone remember). There's a number on the back of the badge--at least on my badge--years before your badge had your name,chapter, initiation date engraved on the back. Other NPC/IFC groups still do that.

Don't you think the new emphasis will be on "life membership," that is, you're an Alpha Gam forever. The annual contribution to keep the fraternity going is the new part, especially being overt about it. (Have all you GCers paid your alumnae dues for this year?)

You know, I've been wondering where to send in my alumna dues. I know you send them to IHQ, but to who? The Foundation?

I'm also going to be sending in a donation to the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation for its leadership drive. Have you girls heard about this? We're aiming to raise 5 million dollars for leadership training, new program development, etc. Its something completely different than we've ever done before. I think its a great idea that is really worthy of our support. I wish I could afford to donate more.
