We had formal at Disneyland, wich is about 7 hours away...we rented out busses and everything, that made it a lot of fun, to be with everyone on a bus down there!!! Best of all.. it was all paid for in our dues already, didn't cost us a thing

Maybe if we're feeling really bold and brave, we'll head to Chicago, Minneapolis or St. Louis!

My buddies at U of I generally go to St. Louis, mostly b/c so many of them are from Chicago to begin with - although I think they've done Minneapolis too. I don't think they'd ever stay in-state if they could help it, at least not for black-tie . . . i definitely understand.

The one time I drove through Kansas City is possibly the last time I'll ever drive through....I agree Earpster, KC seemed to be a really cool, crazy place as we stopped off, looked like a very interesting fun city...but as I was on my way to Topeaka, KS to Washburn U, I had to drive through the most boring states known to man, I guess I could fly....but never again will I drive that stretch. It's awful!
Wait, did you say you're from KC, KANSAS? or Missouri? Missouri seemed crazy, Kansas, well....
Invitation def accepted tho, and if I come that way, I'm gettin ahold of ya
