LOL! Maybe it's just the evolving fashion or make-up trends that makes someone an aging beauty. The late 80's early 90's weren't so good for a lot of people. Jennifer Aniston and Julia Louis-Dreyfus both looked better in the later seasons of Friends and Seinfeld then in the earlier seasons.
BUT
I don't think you "get it". I posted this slideshow because I think it's ridiculous to criticize people for naturally growing older or to compare before/after pics with 20+ year differences. Essentially you are comparing a 25 year olds looks to a 55 year olds looks and it's not fair. People are so concerned about growing old and ugly it makes them feel better about their own situation when they see the same "beauties" they once envied and compared themselves to grow old and fat as well.
