And it STILL isn't going to be on time. This is SO annoying. I have learned now though and I scheduled both TAR and Undercover Boss on the DVR so it will capture both shows and the whole thing. I really wish they would put TAR on a different night. They moved Survivor this year, why not move TAR??????
So for those not watching football on CBS: 60 Minutes started at 7:50 so TAR will start at 8:50 and is 1.5 hours long this week.

Could Nick and Vicki be any more ignorant? I hesitate to say stupid - but never heard of Stonehenge? Really?
eta - YES! They could be! They are in the country of LONDON!

Totally agree! I did a doubletake when Vicki said that! Clearly, Phil has picked up on their stupidity. And, to think, they beat out the best guy friends who were so gracious at the end! Tragic!

Nick and Vickie seem to be that they would be the first couple in the history Amazing Race who end up in the wrong country and don't realize it.

I was laughing so hard.
I also laughed (and groaned) at Chad. Why is it that some people, when they are being stupid, have to claim that the task is stupid?
ETA: Totally liking Team Glee -- and Connor apparently was also student body president at Princeton. Also, for the first time I can remember, I think I genuinely like the pageant racer.
Brooke really needs to stop talking once in a while. And the volley ball girls are making a strong play to qualify as Team Obnoxious as far as I'm concerned.

My favorite moment in the entire episode was Phil's response to them. You could almost see his thought process- <WTF?? Come on. Wait.. they're serious? There is no reasoning with them.> "Yes, the country of London." Loved it. Go Phil.
I know it happens every season, but the nicknames also crack me up. Glee, Pixie & Pan, Sunshine, Gilmore Girls... but hey, helps me keep them straight too!
Oh and the watermelon? OW. You knew someone was going to get hit in some way, but that was intense. At least if she develops a fear of watermelon it won't seem very irrational.

It was Tinkerbell and Pan. Peter Pan, presumably.

You're probably right- I knew it didn't sound quite right but couldn't remember. I just remember looking at her haircut and saying "oh, okay, I get it"!

Whenever a new season starts, I immediately dislike teams that consist of dating couples. I don't know why. I just can't stand them. Already we've got a screamer. And don't get me started on Tink and Pan.
No real favorites yet, but I do dig Chinese dad and son and the QVC girls at the moment. Anyone who gets whacked in the face by a watermelon gets an A+ from me.
I called the thespian friends getting the first boot before the episode started.
(On a side note, I like that they chose Gloucester, MA for the start of the race. I don't think I've ever seen sunshine over that city.)

I missed the last 12 minutes. I know who came in first but I don't know who was last/eliminated. I really need for my daughter to pass her driver's test so I don't have to pick her up at 9 pm all the time

Chad was like a different person last night -- upbeat, easy going. What happened?
Meanwhile, Thomas fell a notch for me when he criticized Jill for caring about whether people could afford the sun glasses. I mean, I assume (hope) the producers put the 3 cedi requirement at a reasonable price, but still he could show a little gratitude that he's with someone who cares about others.

Andie and Jenna were eliminated. But for all their BS about this being their only time together, they are going to have plenty of time to bond in sequester.

Someone needs some anger management treatment, eh?
I'm glad this was a non-elimination round.
I'm not happy that football went a full hour over.

Seriously. Idiot- she can't breathe. Yelling at her doesn't help. Or wait, is severe stress a cure for asthma?
Kevin, on the other hand, was pure class with his dad.

When team Glee referred to their first symbol as "kidney beans," all I could think was, "that kid's never seen a vagina".
