I *think* she was part of the extension committee at her school when they made the decision to open for expansion.

As a woman who has been a member of 3 VERY different Alumnae Associations, I highly recommend it. Frankly, it's the first thing I do upon moving. I even went searching to see if there were any Alpha Xis in Dubai. Sadly, none I've found so far...

Your national website should be able to direct you to alum chapters around the country.
