Hi pnm2010! How did the rest of your recruitment go? I love your theme, and am curious to know!

Sorry for the delay...here is the rest of the story...Long story short...
I ended up attending prefs at Transfiguration and Care of Magical Creatures.
Both were nice but I didn't feel super excited to be there like some of the girls. I didn't really 'fall in love' and although I could have joined and fallen in love later while getting to know everyone and everything about it, I still wasn't very keen on it.
I have nothing bad to say about any of the sororities at my school; I have a lot of respect for them.
When it came time to rank, I left my paper blank and decided to drop out of formal recruitment.
HOWEVER............
There is one very crucial part to my story that I am leaving out. I left this out because once I say it I feel like my school is going to be painfully obvious, but now I am safe to tell you that during first round of recruitment, we went to an 8th sorority, that is colonizing on our campus this year. It was more of an info session than a recruitment, so we weren't supposed to rank them, and if we were interested in colonizing we had to drop out of formal recruitment to pursue it.
So after attending the events for the colonization, I went to collect my envelope and found out that I got a bid!!!! We had our colonization ceremony that was so wonderful and special, and not many people get to experience a colonization ceremony, so we felt really privileged.
I'm so excited to be a part of this colony and start new traditions and learn all about old ones. All the girls seem very sweet and I'm really looking forward to get to know them better.
So.....any guesses as to which sorority this is? (maybe private message me if you want to guess or know) but I'll post it up (MAYBE) tomorrow.

Okay so even though I am extremely uncomfortable with having my school revealed, I figure this story would suck even more if I didn't reveal anything at the end.
Also, writing this story has made me realize why I'm not a writing/English major (I definitely need to improve my writing skills). and I'm sorry if this was really lame to read.
I'm really happy with my sorority, I found that "super-excited" feeling that I was expecting to find during recruitment and I'm very comfortable around my colony sisters already.
I know I made the right decision joining......

ALPHA OMICRON PI!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Girls from eastern washington and cal poly came up during the colonization events to talk to us and they were AMAZING (the cal poly girls missed their own prefs to come!!!!) So a huge thank you to them, we miss them already and were sad they couldn't all stay for the colonization ceremony.

congratulations pnm 2010!! you are right, being a colonist is a special thing, and not many people get to have that experience( i was an advisor to a colony). good luck to you and your sisters as you work toward your colony goals.
