It's like 2.40 something here. I don't know, I like taking my damn moped everywhere instead of taking the truck.

I wish the price of gas was that cheap here, especially since I get about 14MPG on the highway.

When I filled up the other day in Kirkland, WA (Seattle suburb), it was $3.09.

I filled up today for $2.50.

I wish I could fill up only once a month, but I live 30 minutes from where I work and the AC (right now) eats a lot of the gas up. During the winter months I'll probably be able to fill up every 2 weeks, which will be nice. Unfortunately, my 2 week fill ups tend to not fall on the weeks of payday. Murphy's Law.

It's down to $2.99 here. Woohoo!! Though I'm too apprehensive to enjoy it. The days of $4.79 still haunt me.

Living in Chicago....HIGH gas prices! Thank goodness I really don't do much driving. My apartment building is in between two gas stations. One is a BP. The one a couple blocks west of me is always cheaper than the one east of me, which is the BP. That BP is always about twenty cents higher than the other one. We can guess which gas station I fill up at. I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee and she takes 20 gallons, but I have awesome gas mileage. The other day the Marathon (I think that is what it is) dropped the price for unleaded about 4 cents, so now its $2.95. Many gas stations downtown are like $3.05+ EASY.

Using the exchange $1 = Rp9,035

I pay $2.63 for non subsidized higher octane gas and $1.88 for subsidized but crappy quality lower octane gas.

It's been $2.65 (give or take $.05) here consistently for the past month or so, except for the 1 day last week it went down to $2.42. I told myself I would fill up on my way home, but it had gone back up by then.

I would like to forget those days, but something tells me once the economy picks back up so will gas prices I remember back in school paying .99 a gallon, 10 bucks a week for gas and plenty left over for beer runs. Looks like I'll keep driving my 30mpg Hyundai, and keep the truck locked away in the barn for now.
