DAY 2: I think I may have been even more nervous than the day before (if possible). My friends and I arrived early just to see who we were invited back to but of course the cards were running late and we didn't get them until 20 minutes before day 2 started. I got my card and saw a full schedule, YAY! I was cut by Chloe, Dior and Prada. I wasn't too surprised about the first two but a little disappointed about Prada. Either way, I was visiting the maximum number of houses AND still had my top 3.

Chanel: This is one of the houses that I didn't have a rec for so I was surprised to be invited back. I was picked up by a nice sophomore but she seemed very uninterested and kept looking away. A senior came and talked with us and we really hit it off but the first girl was so not into me! An OK house, I wouldn't mind if I got cut.

Gucci: The girl that picked me up was very friendly and talkative, we did a house tour and they had some really cute t-shirts on display. I don't think I'd fit in well here.

Dolce & Gabbana: These girls are really well put together. They are almost so nice to a point where it is fake. I had a pretty good time here but I felt like the conversation was a little forced. My 4th favorite but I am expecting cuts from this house (Like I said earlier, I'll say why at the end)

Michael Kors: My last house but I was SO happy to be here! I was picked up by a talkative sophomore who was really into their philanthropy. The video about it put tears in my eyes, I really feel strongly about what they are doing to help. I met a lot of girls in this house that I really really liked and one said to me "sorry everyone is so excited to meet you!". That made me feel really good but my friends told me that MK is famous for making you love them then cutting you. For sure in my top 3.

Burberry: The first house I went to, they also had a really touching philanthropy video. I only spoke with one girl and the conversation was OK. I don't feel at home here.

Tory Burch: This house was SO LOUD. It got to the point where I couldn't hear my rusher's words and all I could do was nod my head. After the video, another girl came and gave me a house tour. This was incredibly awkward, I think she only said 4 or 5 sentences. She was sweet but this house really isn't for me.

Fendi: So with extremely hot weather, our rho gammas warned us about drinking a lot of water. I thought I was doing fine until this house. Within a couple minutes of being in the house I felt really sick and asked the girl who picked me up if I could sit down. It was really embarrassing being the only one to sit and they rushed over with water for me. I felt better after we watched their video but I was still so embarrassed. The girl I talked to was from my hometown and really nice. An OK house for me.

Valentino: From the moment I walked in day 2 I absolutely adored this house, my rusher was a senior with the same major and we got along famously. The video they played was so adorable and really showed how close they are as sisters. A couple floaters came around who were also very sweet, I feel so at home here. My number 1 choice.

Armani: Armani today was really funny. I won't say what we did because that would give it away but it was really entertaining. I was picked up by a senior that I had met a few times before and she was really cool. I said hi to a lot of my friends and the VP of Recruitment came and talked to me. I really like this house. Definitely top 3.

By the end of the day all I wanted to do was crawl in bed and pass out. I thought preffing would take forever but it was a lot more organized Day 2. My least favorite and most favorite were still the same:

The three I cut: Gucci, Burberry, Tory Burch
My top three: Armani, Valentino, Michael Kors

DAY 3: SKIT DAY!! I heard that rush only gets better and it is so true! We could go to a max of 6 and I had a full schedule!! I was cut by Chanel (no surprise) and Michael Kors (sad but somewhat expected). I am so grateful with the houses I had, there were tons of girls crying everywhere.

Dolce & Gabbana: I was pleasantly surprised to be invited back. I don't know if I will fit in here but their skit today was hilarious. The girls are precious and I got along really well with the girls I spoke with. My third choice as of today.

Burberry: Last house of the day. My rusher was really pretty and she was hilarious in their skit. I think they may have talked about partying a little too much for Recruitment.

Tory Burch: My first house. Their skit was OK. Very awkward pauses in my conversation. My least favorite.

Fendi: The girl that picked me up was SO sweet! Their skit was really impressive but I don't feel at home here. Overall it was OK.

Valentino: Most.amazing.skit.ever. I love this house! I really hit it off with the girls here but I'm afraid because everyone says they don't want the girls who sit in the back and I was in the back. I would love love love to be a Valentino but I'm trying to not get my hopes up because so many girls feel the same way.

Armani: I loved this house today! I feel really at home here. I sat front and center during the skit and spoke to a bunch of girls on exec. Its really nice to see my friends when I walk in this house.

My least favorite and most favorite were still the same:

We had to narrow down 3 we wanted to keep and 3 we wanted to cut:

Cut: (in order of favorites) 1-Fendi 2- Burberry 3-Tory Burch
Keep: (in no order) Armani, Valentino, Dolce & Gabbana

DAY 4: PREF NIGHT!! All day I kept telling myself "all you need is one in the end" and I pretty much sprinted to get my list of who I was going to. Armani (YAY) and Burberry. No Valentino? At first I was a little disappointed but got over it in about 5 seconds when I realized I still have one of my favorites from the start.

Burberry: I came here right after Armani and knew in my heart it wasn't for me. The house is filled with sisters who really love eachother but I truly couldn't see myself here. The seniors were crying so hard and it made me realize how much being greek means to them.

Armani: I saw girls walking out with tears in their eyes but smiles on their faces so I knew it was going to be an emotional night. I was picked up by the same girl as day 1 and she was SO sweet. This chapter does something extra on pref night (I won't say or it will give it away) and it really made me feel at home. Almost the whole time the girls were speaking I was crying my eyes out because I knew this is where I belong.

I ranked:
1. Armani
2. Burberry

Let me just add that I am EXTREMELY blessed to be able to attend both chapters pref night. There are so many girls who started the first day and ended tonight and I am so grateful. Thanks to all who are reading!! The big day will be next

So you will be accepting a bid from Burberry if that's what you end up with? I'm just a little confused because you listed them but said you couldn't see yourself there.

Me neither! Wherever you end up is where you're meant to be! I actually cut the chapter I am in now for the first two days, but I guess they really wanted me. Now I can't see it having happened any other way.

Same here!!!<3 We only have 2-3 days of recruitment because there's only 4 sororities on my campus. So when that happened, I just thought to myself, "well it's up to me to make the most of it!" And I did and now a year later I can't wait to tell incoming PNMs about the sisterhood i have felt!

Don't mean to steal the thunder, just thought it would be a nice post just in case the same thing happens to you

^^^My Niece just got done being a Rho Chi at a competitive PAC 10 school and she told me that you are not allowed to suicide on this campus, in fact, they told the PNM's that the computer wont work if they only list one Chapter. I told her that surprised me because I can see times when it would be absolutely necessary for a young women to suicide- not that I support it, but if you are going to quit if you get the other house what's the point?

Those are classic lies, used many times. There's no way that is actually the case. The Rho Chis were probably told this by the Panhellenic Advisor, who cares about placing women instead of chapters actually pledging them. It does no good to a chapter to match women who won't join them on bid day.
