Not Permitting (1st Semester) Freshmen To Rush

I will add Tulane and Ohio State. I also realized that I left out Northwestern in Chicago and Elon in North Carolina.

Not a big school, but University of Hartford (CT). About 15% is Greek. Six NPC sororities, one local.

you got my hopes up. I was thinking you found a nice centralized thing of who permits 1st semester rush and who doesn't.

Also, I know at my alma mater fraternities can rush first semester if they meet certain criteria (grades, involvement etc).

My school has deferred recruitment. That being said, recruitment is actually even more intense and it honestly starts the second PNM's and sorority women return to campus. It actually makes things a lot more competitive because there is a whole semester during which PNM's must make a good impression upon the sororities, not just 2 weeks.
