No, no, no, never, never, never do this! Your application should have all that on it.
That's just the way I read the original post, especially since a PNM should never be sending her own recs anyway.

That's what I'm talking about with the overkill. Screams "desperate."

If a rec writer chooses to send along her resume, then fine. But the recruitment application should be where all the info on the resume is.

Whoops, I did not mean to come across as me getting a rec then sending it in myself! (It seems that could make the rec writer a little pressured.)

I should have clarified that I meant having someone send in a rec for me.

Thank you for all of the replies. I attempted to call the school, but didn't really get anyone who could give me a yes/no answer.

I'll checked the website for recruitment dates and across the top it says 2009. However, it looks like the dates may actually be for 2010 as it says Sunday the #th. I went to double check on the info sheets they sent, but there are no dates on it. I can always call to double check. It starts after classes. It seems a bit confusing.

I did check the schools where you absolutely need recs thread a few times, just to make sure nothing was missed, but my school is not mentioned. Not even a whisper of it.

About recs, this website seems to be mentioned quite often: http://npcwomen.org/alumnae-panhellenics/directory.aspx
Unfortunately there are no links for my area and no info about the area.

Do they have a new student orientation? There will probably be someone from Greek Affairs at that you can talk with. Also, as for NPC alum PHs, find the location nearest you. Sometimes there isn't one in your town but one in another town covers it.
