Congrats on being a DZ. Both my daughters were members of Delta Zeta.

Right right, so I suppose the moral of my story is:

1) Don't be discouraged if you don't get so many invites right off the bat. You only need 1.
2) If you have deferred rush, take the time to make friends with girls in sororities! I cannot stress this enough. I think this really helps you in recruitment!
3) Get recs, have good grades, look great, and feel great! Be the best version of yourself.
4) Have fun and have faith in the system. It is not perfect, I promise you, but most likely you will end up happy.

Any other suggestions? I feel like a lot of recruitment can be luck and I feel I did get lucky, but you just have to make sure you are on top of the factors that you CAN control.

Edit: P.S. Thanks for all the congrats!

I find this story extremely unlikely. You got cut by all but three chapters, including your legacy chapter, and the three that you pref happen to be the three most sought-after groups? Right.
