I was a "fat kid" and that experience is something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. It's terrible not being comfortable in your own skin, seeing the stares and hearing the comments people make to your face and behind your back. I don't care what anyone else says, that stuff gets to you and can drive you to make some pretty terrible choices. (Did anyone else read the article that someone posted from Dimension Magazine?)
I don't understand why someone who is willing put herself and loved ones in a situation where her health and parenting abilities are going to be constantly called into question. Being that morbidly obese is not healthy on any level and sets a terrible example for her little girl. Mom should know better and Dad should not be encouraging this ridiculously unhealthy behavior.
