I like them both, but for different reasons. If I had to choose, it would be Duran Duran. They were all about my years living in the chapter house.

dude, so is Duran Duran. They've never had more than a few years between albums.
as for the question at hand, it depends on what kind of mood i'm in.

But to me, DM is is still listenable in 2010, I have a few DD albums....that I can not listen to anymore and it hard to listen to the stuff that I grew up on because of (forgive me) crap they've done recently.

I feel the same way on both counts.

Depeche Mode was one of the best concerts I've ever been to, so that's my vote. Love INXS, too. Duran Duran was kinda before my time, though I can still enjoy.

yeah the justin timberlake colab was a bit but i think they haven't totatly gone old man desperate for relevance yet. The new DM album is phenominal though. Sorry for spelling.

Depeche Mode all the way.
I have seen both Depeche Mode and Duran Duran in concert & Depeche Mode completely blew me away. Duran Duran is great but IMO, DM is better.

Depeche Mode wins hands down! They are the only ones still relevant today, DD sounds dated and cheesey as hell. I saw DM during the "playing the angel" tour and they rocked.
