I'm so sorry but I just can't help myself. I think of this answer every time I see the topic, "West coast...where are you?"
It's just to the East of the Pacific Ocean.
By the way, I live in Colorado which may become the West Coast right after "The Big One." But I hope not.
My favorite "Murphy's Law" saying is that "Sooner or later, everything East of the San Andreas (sp?) Fault will fall into the Atlantic Ocean."
