1. I was TERRIFIED that Callie was leaving! This was a creative twist, but boy I was scared. I really began to like her even more as I rewatched some of the old seasons. I forgot how funny she is.
2. "So are you really gay? I mean, how gay are you on a scale of 1 to....gay?"
3. Alex = AWESOMENESS
3. Bailey = really sad awesomeness
4. I thought I'd gotten over the death of my co-worker. But watching how broken up everyone was over losing George brought it all back. I bawled for like 10 minutes after it ended and now I have a headache. Good night, GC.

It was a good season premiere, but I was honestly ready for the show to end after 45 minutes. I was >< close to going to bed at 10. I did watch the whole thing though. I'm hoping they don't get rid of the chief. I liked the ending with Christina and LOVED how Bailey got the organ teams to say where his organs were going. Now that was a pitch for organ donation. I'm surprised they didn't add a the More You Know for it during commercial breaks.

I loved Bailey & Der in the elevator at the end when she said she needs to stop caring so much on the job, O'malley wasn't her child & Stevens isn't her child, she needs to save that love for her own son. I was boo-hooing like a baby.
Izzy & Alex at the end was also one of my favorite scenes. I was so glad he opened up to her. Go Alex!

*sigh*
The laughter at the funeral was classic GA. As was Christina's reaction at the end of the episode.

I bawled off and on through the whole first hour. I had pulled it together but lost it again when Bailey was quizzing the people about who was getting George's organs. Such a great moment and totally believable if you were presiding over the harvest of a friends' organs.
I am glad we will be moving away from Izzie's cancer storyline for a while (now that she is "living with cancer") but I predict the writers will lull us into a false sense of security and then bring the cancer back with a vengeance by season's end. I do not think K Heigle is a lifer on GA.
And, so happy Der and Mer are finally happy - here's hoping they can stay that way for a while. I think Yang and Owen will be filling the angst void.

Yeah, I feel like they really left the whole cancer situation open in case they need to off her at some point this season.

^^^LOL is that how you spell it? I was spelling it (in my head) "sauviche." *runs to google* Looks like we're both right, I found yours in English website and mine in French ones. Together, we're bilingual! lol
I was thinking today that I'm really glad to see Cristina with Owen in counseling. After Mer went to counseling, a lot of people said that Cristina should go and this is a really sneaky way to get her there.

Last night's episode?
I was very proud of Mer.
Alex screaming was too funny.
McSteamy's speech was spot on! I didnt like the kids, but the man's comment about the granddaughter had me ROLLIN'!!! The wife especially got on my nerves.
New Mercy West people next week, hmmmm. .
Private Practice!!!
Ok, I LURVE Charlotte now!!!

ZOMG, Private Practice is AWESOME this season!!!
And I guess now we know how they handled Ellen Pompeo's pregnancy. Stick in her bed to recover for a TV month.

I didnt really like Charlotte in the beginning, but she's grown on me. Especially last night with the martini bit! "Do I look like I care about your boobs? Because you look like you need a martini."

Great ep! I was NOT expecting Cristina to pull that! Yea for Callie, she had that coming! It made me so nervous when Shonda said that eventually everyone in the cast is going to go (I think I read that on Grey's Insider). I know most shows don't keep all of the original cast forever, but that was a scary comment!
Did you see the PP preview where Sam kisses Bailey????? My heart jumped for JOY. It would be my heart's desire to see them get together and have their own spinoffs (though I feel like Grey's would cease to exist without Bailey).
