Anyway, Update

Over 30 of his brothers and friends (he was a phi sig at radford that had recently transfered to ODU) from Radford came.

It was so strange. He was only a distant relative but then you see the pictures at the viewing/memorial and it's like....damn, that's guy no longer around. The thing that gets me is he was by all accounts clean. He was just really big, and that probably finally did him in. His big just couldn't take it anymore. Goddamn, I hated the looke on his dad's face..."he never caused me a day of trouble"

He was a good boy....hell, I"m the asshole of the family , it should've been me. He was too good to go. It's not right.

that viewing was fucked up....at least 200 people were there. His family (meaning immeditate family and his buddy that he knew all threw school that was helping his mom and dad at the services) didn't recognize maybe half the people that were there.

I hate this shit. He was a good example of what a fraternity man should be. And he gets cut down.

I will say this: Phi Sigma Kappa at Radford University is one of the best fraternities in the nation. Every single one of his brothers was there.

Thank you everyone for you warm wishes. This is a loss not only to my family, but to my campus, the greek community there, and the overall greeksystem that exists in the United States.

Good guys just don't last long enough.

So sorry to hear of your loss RU,

and Diane, my heart is broken to hear of your loss. I'm so sorry that you are dealing with this. A dear friend of mine's husband took his life last fall, and I thought my friend would never feel happiness again, but through love and support, she is starting to feel hopeful again. I hope you have that kind of support! I am sending you major cyber hugs!! Know that people care and grieve with you.

It sucks! My family is still dealing with our own tragedy with my cousin from 2007. It is so sad when a credit to sorority, society, and the world in general doesn't get a fair chance. We have the pleasure of enduring a trial starting this summer. My thoughts are with you, nobody should have to go through this.
