Heck yeah. I used to love those shows (not really sure what 'welcome freshman' is though).
And I effin loved Pogs. I still have my container of pogs somewhere in my house!
Back in elementary/middle school there was also those spinning tops that we used to play with. You'd wind the string around top (and around your finger) then you'd throw it to the ground and watch it spin. I never got the hang of it.
I never had Barbies, and I'm glad. I had baby dolls, a big wheel, a NERF football, a NES, and then later a SNES. I could go from girl to tomboy in an instant! lol

Anyone remembering having your childhood shattered when finding out that Scooby Doo and Shaggy were high on weed and because of their high were almost always the first ones to see the ghosts and something had to be in Scooby snacks that they almost always did any and everything to get one, Fred and Daphne were lovers who sometimes included Velma to watch because she was a repressed lesbian and that it was hinted that Freddy may have been bi after all?

Oh yeah...and I was at Express in NYC last spring and they had a big display of stirrup pants. I absolutely DEMANDED that those not come back in style.

ME TOO!!!!!!! I used to sit in my window and try to talk to the moon after watching this, but I couldn't always see the moon from my window so I gave up after a few nights. Ever notice how all the kids had double names? Dorothy Jane, Ruth Ann, Mary Sue, Chuckie Lee...I always loved Chuckie Lee because he was "Minkus" from Boy Meets World (another classic).

Does anyone remember ‘Welcome Freshmen’?? It was on briefly in the early 90s, but it was awesome.
And I know what you're talking about with the spinning tops. I never could get the hang of it, either.

David the Gnome! I mention this to people and they look at me like I’m crazy. Swift the fox was my favorite.
And Robot Chicken IS pretty sweet.

OMG, yes!! When I was 9, my mom & dad were finally gonna buy a house and they were down to 2---the one we currently live in, and the one that I wanted. In the house I wanted, my room would have been
1. on the second floor,
2. Facing the moon,
3. it had a window seat,
4. the window opened up like it did on the Torkelsons.
OMG I wanted that house sooooo bad, but it had water damage. Instead we got this crappy house (which by the way had water damage as well, it just wasn't evident like in the other house).

*The JOY of candy. Seriously, candy could make EVERYTHING better. It was also WAY cheaper than it is now. I remember when a bag of M&Ms was NOT like $1.50.
*Back before Trix cereal was fruit shaped. It used to be just colored balls (like Kix).
*When it was a MUST to go get Lucky Charms if they came out with a NEW MARSHMALLOW.
*Going to bed at 8:30. Pretty sure every kid on my block went to bed at the same time.
*Swinging on the swings, letting it go as high as it could, and then jumping off.
*Tetherball and 4 Square at recess.
*Lunchboxes! I had a Barbie one.
*THE ICE CREAM MAN. You would drop EVERYTHING to go beg your mom for like 50 cents so you could go get something!
