Can I throw one other bit of food for thought at you? Hermes was the god of those who travel and cross bounderies. He might be an appropriate patron for an organization of those who have transferred from one school to another, and he might provide some useful symbols -- winged traveler's hat, winged sandals or rooster. (Kappa Sigma does use the caduceus as a symbol, though historically the caduceus seems to be associated more with Hermes's Latin counterpart, Mercury. In ancient Hellenic art, Hermes carries a
kerykeion.)
