And To This Want-a-Be Promoter....And So She Published It On A Blog...See It's Like This I Sent This Lady Want-a-Be Promoter This Letter After Reading A Bulletin She Had Posted On The Web... She Was Calling all young country music artist...Saying that she was going to make all Star's.....See What Her And Her Boy Friend Were Doing Was Telling These Kid's That They Would Make Them Stars...Cuz They Had A Recording Studio...Then They Would Build Them Up ....Charge Them A Ton Of Cash To Record Them...Knowing All Along That 98% Of These Poor Kid's Did Not Have A Future In The Biz...That Is Just Sick...So I Wrote This To Her...

Dear Judy I Understand What You Are Trying To Do...And That Is A Really Cool Thing. I Wish You All The Best But Also I Must Say That In Doing This You Also Have To Be Real....I Mean This In A Good Way. But Understand Becuse Of The Web Now More Then Ever There Are Artist's Everywhere...lol...And Not All Of Them Are Good Enough To Make The Cut....I Mean Good Enough To Make It Unless They Had A Million Dollars Behind Them lol....Just Look Around....This Site Is A Good Example...It's Hard To Say That Cuz You Never Want To Crush Anyones Dream....But Being In This Industy For Years I Have Seen It All....What I Mean Is They Have To Be Real About It... Look If They Can Put Together A Track That Hooks People And It Moves People Right Away After A Few Sec...Then Look That Could Maybe Be A Hit....Depending On Who Is Pushing Them...But Today We Are All Fighting The Marketing Reps...Not Anything But( Look Unless Your A Songwriter Just Trying To Get Someone To Cover One Of Songs )...It's Like This...The Big Labels Are Losing Money So Much Becuse Of The Web Already...I Mean People Are Going To Itunes And Buying Just One Track Intead Of The Hole CD...This Is Good For The Indie Artist....But Bad For The Labels Them Self...So The Labels Fight By Making It Very heard To Breck In...( They Have The Money ) And One Of The Cards They Also Still have Is The Top 40 Radio Stations....Or ( CLEAR CHANEL STATIONS )..It's A Pay To Play System....And Im Hear To Tell Ya First Hand If You Don't Play Their Game.....Well No Play For You....It's Sad But True....What Im Saying Is What Your Doing Is Great... And Helping Talented People Is Cool...But They Must Be Really Talented....Just A Pretty Face Wont Sell CD's Anymore Cuz People Are Tired Of This Trick...Or Well Maybe Their Friends And Family Might Buy Them..lol..But They Will Fall Short Of Being A Real Recording Artist. Look It Seems We Have Came Full Circle In The Music Biz...It Use To Be About The Music...Then It Came To Be About The Look Of An Artist...Then It Became About The Look And The Song....Now It's Back to The Song....And REAL TALENT...Most Of The New Recording Artist These Kids Hear Are So Protooled Out...And They Can Tell Now...( THE PUPLIC ) I Mean They Hear Them On The Radio...Then Go See Them Live And WOW THEY SUCK !!!..This Is Why People Are Turning Back To Indie Artist...
